A new company, built on real experience

ALEVA is a newly established North American engineering company. We are at the beginning of our journey — but the team behind us is not new to medical imaging.

We’re building ALEVA for the long term — for the clinicians and patients who will depend on it.

ALEVA is a newly established company in North America. We are at the very start of our journey in Canada and the United States — a new name, a new organization, but not a new team.

Behind ALEVA is a founding team with more than 15 years of experience in medical imaging, ultrasound technologies, medical device engineering, manufacturing, AI, and product development. Those years were not spent in theory. They were spent designing electronics, building beamformers, writing imaging software, taking devices through manufacturing, and working shoulder to shoulder with clinicians and industry partners to make real products work in the real world.

We created ALEVA to bring that accumulated experience into a company of our own — here, in North America.

Over those years we learned what it actually takes to turn an idea into a dependable medical device: the engineering depth, the discipline, the testing, and the patience. We also saw how much stronger a product is when design, electronics, software and manufacturing are handled by one team that understands the whole system. ALEVA was created to do exactly that.

We are building ALEVA for the long term — not for short-term sales. Our aim is durable relationships and products that hold up over years, not quick wins. We would rather earn trust gradually, through engineering that speaks for itself, than make claims we cannot stand behind. That is the company we are choosing to build.

15+ years of experience, brought into one new company

The experience behind ALEVA belongs to its founding team — engineers and specialists who have spent more than fifteen years building medical imaging technology. ALEVA is the organization created to carry that expertise forward, not a company that has itself operated for that long.
